Dress Code

We hope you're eager to get ready for our wedding. Please note that there is no expectation to wear Indian clothing if you’re not of Indian heritage. Being comfortable is the most important thing.

Morning Ceremony

Traditional South Indian or
Western Cocktail Attire

Opt for sarees, kurtas, cocktail dresses,

suits or dress shirts and slacks in softer bright colors. We also recommend bringing sunglasses!

Where can I buy Indian clothing?

If you're interested in wearing Indian attire, here are some places we recommend:

Just a friendly note: If you’re not of Indian heritage, it's best to reserve traditional Indian clothes for weddings and festivals, and avoid wearing them in everyday settings as a sign of respect to the culture.

What to avoid?

Like most weddings, our dress code leans more formal. Please avoid shorts, leggings, t-shirts, short skirts and mini dresses.
